ok lets discuss this, has been on my mind and i see it play out daily.
the game now a days favors melee classes and melee hybrid classes the most, most dragon racials affect melee way more than it does to casters
with vulns being taken out casters lost a sort of edge when it comes to fighting others, we were able to hit the elements.

but now without vulns it comes down to a flag war on weapons, which a sorc can never win, melee always has the upper hand.
saves cap out at 100, everyone can get 100 saves no matter what, so thats kind of the problem
melee type classes should have far less saves over a caster who is more protected against magic. thus making a distinction between to two play types.
you cant always have the best of both worlds, and ppl should have pros and cons and have to think about what they wanna play
classes with daze's should have alot lower saves because their main way to block spells would be spell daze's Not saves
Basicly im just tryin to close the gap between casters and melee, like melee spell daze get 2 way's to counter a caster, saves + their spell daze, where a caster has just their armor vs melee rounds.
with everyone having max saves is really puts a hamper on caster type classes that rely on maladictions and dispels.
